Pouilly-sur-Loire – White – 75cl
Pouilly-sur-Loire wines are made from the Chasselas varietal. This is a small and rare appellation covering some 30 ha. We own 70 ares (7000m2) and some of the plots possess vines that are more than 100 years old. This grape variety has witnessed the changes in the vineyards but also changes in wine growing techniques.
Its qualities : robustness (it is quite resistant to the vine disease l’esca which is caused by fungus), its finesse et softness on the palate.
Varietal : Chasselas: Today, there only remains 30ha planted with this varietal.

Colour buttercup-yellow. Nose composed of aromas of honeysuckle, white flowers and subtil fresh fruit. It is fresh and well-balanced. On the mouth it is flattering with floral and mineral overtones, aromas of hazelnuts and a milkiness which give a certain richness to the wine.
